Dead trees: Dead trees are dangerous and should be removed immediately. Dead trees will drop branches and are more susceptible to falling in a storm. Thus, they pose a threat to your property and personal well-being. Tree removal in Westerly RI, can prevent this.
Dying trees: Dying trees can often be cured through root collar excavation, soil management, pest and disease control, and other tree care services. But in the event that this is not possible, it is better to remove the tree sooner rather than later.
Heavily damaged trees: A tree with heavy damage may be at risk of dying. If it cannot be healed, the damaged tree should be cut down.
Hazardous trees: Leans, hollow spots, and weak root bases are just a few of the indicators of a potentially hazardous tree. Such trees should be carefully evaluated by one of our experts. If you have a tree that truly poses a threat that cannot be mitigated except through tree removal, it should be cut down.
Trees in the wrong location: Trees that are too close to houses and other structures, or certain species of trees planted in the wrong location, are all candidates for removal. Trees of this nature pose threats during hurricanes, strong thunderstorms, and during ice and snow accumulation. They can also cause damage to foundations, lift sidewalks or driveways, lead to mildew on siding, rub paint off structures, clog gutters with leaves, provide a path for squirrels to get into your home or business, and much more.

We determine the right placement of your trees so they can grow to full maturity by adhering to our tree planting process:
We’ll help you choose the right type of tree to conform to your property’s size and tend to group like trees together for cross-pollination.
We’ll determine the best placement for your new tree to avoid in ground obstacles likes sewer pipes and height limitations like utility lines.
Our experts consider soil type, access to light sources and other environmental factors to ensure your trees have all the nutrients needed.
We protect the longevity of your trees from sapling to maturity with tree trimming, organic fertilization and other tree services!
Whenever we provide tree removal service, smaller branches are chipped into wood chips and the bulk of the tree is cut into loadable lengths. If you are in an area we are working in, we’ll be happy to drop the logs and/or wood chips off at your home. Logs and/or wood chips can be delivered even if we are not in your area for a predetermined delivery charge.
If you’re planning any major construction around your home such as an addition or a pool, we’d like to bring some little known tree facts to your attention. Heavy machinery can cause root damage to your trees even if the construction activity is not in the immediate vicinity of the tree.
Roots can become compacted by the weight of the construction equipment. Over the course of time, the tree might suffocate and die because of this. Tomorrow’s Trees can prevent permanent damage to the tree with the use of special aerating equipment which loosens the soil, adding oxygen.
Many trees can have root systems that can extend many feet out from the tree and be very close to the surface. Any digging in the area will disturb the roots and can cause a tree to go into shock and die. The professionals at Tomorrow’s Trees will examine the damage and use the proper treatment to help the tree recover. If you’ve recently had construction on your property and are concerned about your trees, give us a call at 860-848-TRIM for a free tree inspection.
• Wood chips are left one truck load at a time; approximately 15-20 cubic yards.
• Logs will be cut at various lengths depending on weight and size.
• Chips are clean. We avoid delivering chips that are all pine trees, mixed with poison ivy, or undesirable brush.
• Logs are all types but we avoid bringing pine, spruce or other non-desirable wood unless you burn an outside campfire.
If you’re interested in log or wood chips, please call us at 860-848-TRIM for more details.
Tree Pruning and Tree Trimming in Westerly RI
Some trees have branches that are simply too low to the ground. Removing bottom branches provides clearance for walkways, lawn mowing, and provides more light for grass and shrubs.
While shade can be terrific on a hot summer day, sometimes a tree can block too much light. Perhaps you have a pool and want more sunlight on it. Our tree trimmers will properly trim your tree to give you the light you want while still keeping it healthy. Thinning also allows wind to blow through the tree instead of snapping branches or toppling the tree.
If a tree has grown too large for its permitted space, crown reduction pruning may be a viable alternative to tree removal. When done properly, it lowers the overall height. This approach is best for ornamental trees such as plum, dogwoods, cherry and pear trees which may have been planted too close to a house.
Tree topping, like crown reduction dramatically reduces the height of the tree but can cause quite a bit of stress to the tree (This should be a method of last resort). In some cases we may recommend removing the tree and replacing it with a younger tree.
Rich and his team did an amazing job clearing our front yard of 3 massive oak trees that really shaded our yard and now we have so much more sunlight! They were professional, hard working, and great with clean up. Highly recommend!
Tomorrow’s Trees trimmed our two big oak trees and a maple, removed out of control bushes in front and brush in back. Their crew was reasonably swift, pleasant, and helpful. Kyle, the crew lead and man in the bucket, was knowledgeable and has an aesthetic eye. He was conscientious about getting all of the dead wood, especially what might fall in the neighbors’ yards (as was requested). Our oak in front looked especially amazing afterwards! Going the extra mile beyond the agreement, they blew our many leaves into a convenient pile or tidy garden bed mulch. The owner/arborist Rich was very patient and conversant while answering questions and offering solutions. We appreciated the information and options from him and his crew that informed our decisions. We appreciate that they care about the trees and seek to keep them healthy. Last but not least, Melissa, as first contact on the phones, is pleasant and helpful.Years ago we had them take down a 100’ Tulip Poplar that had become a danger. We are very happy we came back to Tomorrow’s Trees.
I recommend Tomorrows Trees to everyone in Eastern CT. This is a company that performs the work they agree to with professionalism and pride. Tomorrows Trees is also an establishment that has knowledgeable employees who are respectful and considerate of your property.WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Showed up on appointed day, worked quickly and professionally. Cleaned up after. Very friendly and respectful of property. They will be our go-to arborists. Rich Cullen is extremely knowledgeable on all things trees.
Responsive. On time. Professional. Very reasonably priced. Neat and clean. These guys did a fantastic and thorough job. I have a property that isn't easy to navigate, but they had the equipment and experience and it shows. I highly recommend them for any and all tree work and I will be using them again.
The team at Tomorrow's Trees did an amazing job taking down our 5 maples that were overtaking our yard. Despite living in the city with no driveway and minimal space, they were able to flawlessly execute the removals in one day. They worked hard and left all the wood we requested in an easy access point for us to stack. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!
If you need work done, Rich and his crew are the guys for you. They went above and beyond our expectations when we needed 4 trees removed that were quite close to the house. The crew was in and out in a very timely matter and we could not be happier with the results.
I had a customer of mine that needed a large tree trimmed. Rich and his crew got it done when he said he would and did it with my customers best interest in mind. I look forward to future work from Tomorrow's Tree's.
I felt very well cared for as a customer. Rich was very patient with my many questions, then when I finally made a decision, they came right away and did a great job all in one day. Very nice guys in the crew as well. Same goes for Elyssa in the office who was prompt and helpful in processing my payment.
Rich and his crew are amazing! They were on time, took great care in maneuvering around my yard and it is very apparent that safety is a top priority. They even took the time to make sure the cut lengths were something I could manage and that is most appreciated! Other than a pile of logs, you would never know I had trees taken down. Would definitely recommend Tomorrow's Trees and will certainly use them again when needed.
The professionalism of this company is second to none. The safety requirements and the attention to detail was like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’ve worked in rigging for much of my life and I’ve never seen people work with such adaptiveness with complex parts. I would recommend them to anyone. They covered my house my garage and my vehicles as well as my special trees and plants and did damage to none of them. Worth every dollar!!
The Tomorrow’s Tree Crew that came out to take down an enormous tulip tree – 80’ + and over 36” in diameter was impressive. First and foremost, they were safe. They communicated well, everyone had a job to do, and they knew where everyone was at all times. They looked out for each other, and each of them worked hard. In watching them, you can tell this is hard and dangerous work, and they were highly skilled and methodical to get the job done right. In talking with them, you could tell they enjoyed their work. They took down some smaller trees, too, with the same skill, safety, and expertise even though the smaller tress were not as daunting as the giant tulip tree. The job site was cleaned regularly while they were working, just to make sure the clutter didn’t get in the way. At the end of the job, they gave a complete cleaning, leaving it virtually without a trace that they had been there. I can’t thank you enough for providing such impressive work.
Rich from Tomorrow's Trees is the person you hope for when you hire someone to do work on your house. He shows up on time, is knowledgable, polite, professional, and gives you an itemized quote. He showed up to trim and cut down our trees when he said he would. The quality of the job was good and they cleaned up after themselves.
Tomorrow's Trees are our "go-to" provider for tree service on our property for at least twenty years. This particular service was in response to storm damage that took out a very old Norway maple that was partially down on our house. They responded quickly, and provided options to consider before work began. They were careful of our property and clean-up was well done. They have never advised us to do unnecessary work or have we felt overcharged for the quality of service received. Best of luck with your own project...
Rich and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, appropriate in their recommendations, sensitive to our budget and just plain nice people. I found the work to be exactly as described, on time, a good value and the clean up was if they were never there! I highly recommend!
Tomorrow's Trees knows what its doing. We had a tree fall in the back yard and a 100ft spruce tree in the front that posed a huge danger. All removed in a day and a half. It wasn't cheap but it was fair. They do all kinds of jobs large and small and do it right. No BS. Highly recommended.
It is a pleasure to have Richard and his crew to help with our tree cut down and removal. It is kinda sad that I wasn't there to see how they work so well cus I'm away from home for college, but everything is done perfect just like what my parents told me！Definitely recommended for those of you who need a tree service or any other service they offer. Thank You！
I was very pleased with Tomorrow's Trees. Rich wasvery responsive to my concerns regarding a large tree that washanging over my roof. His team did a timely and professional joband cleaned up after as well. Thanks Rich,Sheila Devine
We recently had 4 trees removed and 1 cable installed by Tomorrow's Trees and we are so happy with their work and results. The foreman Kyle and his crew were punctual, professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend them to our friends and neighbors 🙂
When I was in process of home buying and needed an arborist to advise how to proceed regarding some branches that were overhanging the property, Rich was very knowledgeable, and identified which trees would need to be trimmed back and why, as well as some additional advice about maintaining the trees for the future. Gave me a quote for the work as well as a written invoice explaining his recommendations. When I bought the house and the seller had fallen through on our agreement, I called Rich again to get an updated quote to also remove a large tree in my front yard that was dominating the space. I had also contacted two other tree removal specialists who had given much higher quotes for tree trimming alone, so the choice to go with Rich was clear. They completed all scheduled work yesterday, and I cannot rave enough about how good of a job they did. You would never guess there was ever a tree in my front yard, the stump is completely gone and the ground was filled in and flattened. The trees that needed to be trimmed back are no longer overhanging my roof. And they didn't leave a mess! All the wood and branches were disposed of. Rich and his team were wonderful and I will recommend them to anyone who needs to have treework done.
Fantastic job by a knowledgeable and professional service. Rich and his crew did a fantastic job and Rich was personally very responsive to all of our concerns. Would highly recommend Tomorrow's Trees for any tree work on your property!
I highly recommend Tomorrow's Trees! Through them I not only reclaimed a significant part of my visual wooded landscape, but also learned a valuable lesson about quality contractors. You see, Rich is a serious businessman, and while, initially, I was concerned with whether Rich's business would do a good job, I learned, in hindsight, that Rich is, at the same time, trying to establish whether I'm a serious and reliable customer. Rich knew the quality of his business, and what he and his team would bring to the work on my property; I was the one who had to learn about their skill.Once I communicated the work I had in mind, Rich then added an entire new dimension of consideration, based on his extensive knowledge of landscapes, trees and plants, that were relevant, that I had not even considered in my assessment of work i wanted. After realizing the added dimension was valid, together Rich and I finalized a number of possibilities for work on my property. Once the contract was finalized, Rich worked on a date. Once the date was established, Rich and his team brought their talents to the work on my property. At the completion of the work, I was delighted by how my original requests and Rich's added insight left my property looking great, in a way I hadn't seen it in many years. Rich and his team also cleaned up and removed all debris to my satisfaction, without my having to comment. As a result of my tree removal, landscape clearing, arborist trimming, pruning, and professional service, I now know if I have any tree removal or landscaping work, Rich and Tomorrow's Trees will be my first choice to contact. Thank You Tomorrow's Trees!
